I heard a song on bandcamp this week I liked by Ian Britt called "The Shape Of Us". I immediately wanted to write a song just like it - steal it like a thief. Instead I decided to let his song get me started and then go wherever it led. The two songs don't sound similar, but there's a kind of connection in a general way. I realized that this was a song about having love restored to your life after too long without. So for Valentine's Day week, here's a song for the ones in love again (and again, and again). Onward...
